SUMMARY
The Crew Member is responsible for performing a range of lawn care, landscape and maintenance services at residential and commercial properties. We pride ourselves on quality and professionalism and expect Crew Members to exhibit the same values.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be legally licensed to drive in the State of Kentucky
- Must be 18 years or older and meet all state-mandated labor laws
PREFERENCES
- Current fertilization/weed control chemical application license
- Knowledge of lawn care, fertilization and landscape techniques
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report to Crew Leader
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Maintain and repair tools and equipment
- Operate all tools and equipment properly and safely
- Mow lawns with riding lawnmowers or manual lawnmowers
- Whack/pull weeds and edge lawns
- Trim hedges
- Install and maintain landscapes
- Pick up and deliver mulch and other supplies to jobs
- Sweep or blow away debris upon finishing each job
- Cut down limbs or trees
- Mulch landscape areas
- Empty trailer of debris as needed
- Clean gutters
- Pass out door hangers
- Perform other duties as requested and as needed
This position is physically demanding. In daily operations, Crew Member must:
- Have full range of mobility
- Be able to sit, stand, walk, bend over, kneel, stoop, etc. for extended periods of time
- Be able to reach over head, climb or balance
- Be able to lift, push, or pull equipment and materials
- Be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- Have clear vision with the ability to focus and to see peripheral, depths, distances, and colors
- Drive/travel to jobs throughout the day in Springfield and surrounding cities
This position is outdoor-based with daily travel. Crew Member may be exposed to:
- Driving, loading/unloading, and working in adverse weather conditions
- Fumes and chemicals
- High noise levels
